Acacia is a dense hardwood, so a well-made cup can feel substantial while still being comfortable in the hand. Wood also doesn't feel as immediately hot or cold against your hands and lips as ceramic, glass, or metal can. Each cup has natural grain variation, so every piece looks slightly different.
